The hypocrisy that undermines your faith. The loneliness that haunts
your every step. The rage that keeps you from sleep. This is what
feeds the hearts and minds of thirty seconds of shame.
Making their presence known early through consistent Top 20 rankings
on mp3.com's Alternative Metal chart, 30SoS quickly earned the respect
and endorsements of such influential music sites as music industry
newsletter King's of A&R ("Band to Watch" 9/03) and Digital Noise Network (9/10 rating, "Anatomy of a Failure").
In the fall of 2003, the band signed on with True Player Entertainment's CEO Chad Calek and Zerodisc Management's Curt Smith, vocalist for the multi-platinum selling Tears for Fears. With their guidance, 30SoS is turning heads throughout the industry.
PRESS/QUOTES:
"Dynamic, industrial-driven, hard
rock/alt-metal. Imagine Godsmack/Soundgarden colliding with NIN
and containing traces of The Prodigy and Linkin Park."
King's
of A&R
"9 out of 10, Brilliant...
Anatomy of a Failure [the debut release from thirty seconds of shame],
is one of the most interesting albums I've heard in a long time...This
band is pushing the boundaries of rock and roll."
Digital
Noise Network
"Why aren't these guys signed
to a major label? ...thirty seconds of shame combine melody with
crunch that a lot of bands seem to be lacking. This band shouldn't
be overlooked."
Michael Cross, Program Director
Rock 108
"The song [Just Like Superman]
gives me the feeling that I should be hearing it on some big fat
